Caroline Poggi (b. 1990, Ajaccio) studied at the University of Corsica and Paris 8, while Jonathan Vinel (b. 1988, Toulouse) studied editing at La Fémis. They have made several films, separately and then together. Their short film Tant qu'il nous reste des fusils à pompe (As Long as We Have Shotguns), won the Golden Bear at the Berlinale in 2014. Their first feature film, Jessica Forever, premiered at TIFF and then at the Berlinale Panorama. In 2024. In 2924, their second feature film, Eat the Night, was presented at the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes.
