Team
Laurence Blais
She / Her
Executive Director
Head of Sales

With a bachelor's degree in film from UQAM and a specialized graduate diploma in cultural organization management from HEC Montréal, Laurence combines her passion for cinema with her management skills. A true Swiss Army knife of funding, she has made her mark in the search of private sponsorships, government grants, philanthropy, and sales, notably as director of partnerships for the RIDM. A music lover, she has also worked as a coordinator and project manager in public funding for some of Montreal's biggest festivals, including Les Francos de Montréal, the Montreal Jazz Festival, Osheaga, Montréal en Lumière and Nuit Blanche, etc. She then served as interim executive director and co-director of Cinéma Public, an independent movie theater, for nearly a year and a half. Laurence wants to use her skills in financing and partnerships to promote cinema from here and elsewhere. In 2025, she joins Travelling as Executive Director and Head of Sales.

Laurence's creative passion doesn't stop at cinema: you can also find her in the kitchen improvising and perfecting her recipes, like a Montreal version of Molly Baz. More is more!
