ROOSTER’S CROW is the desire to dive in with the men around us, men who have lost their way and are no longer trying to find themselves. It’s my need to walk a path with them to see where we can go. It’s also my desire to do it without the dramatic tone that all this implies, because after all, at a family party, chaos and jokes always bury the repressed pain better. This film is an exploration of small talk and the violence of subtext. It is with this light-hearted tone and wry humor that the drama builds and unravels: until the next party.
Alexandre Lefebvre

Scenarist and director, Alexandre Lefebvre makes documentaries and fictions since he graduated from college at UQAM in Quebec. Focused on human relations and quest for self knowledge, even his comedy tries to understand the absurdity of the relation toward ourselves and others.
